Overlook Ladies to Paint the Town Red!!

Wednesday, March 9th is the next scheduled Overlook Ladies Night Out. We will be going to The Painted Plate in the new shopping center at Huebner and Stone Oak. The cost is $5 for painting and firing, plus the price of whatever piece you pick to paint. No artistic natures are required...Kelly (the owner) is very nice and helps you along with whatever project you choose.

The evening runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., however, the writer of this column plans to be at Cielito Lindo (same shopping center) at 6 p.m. for margaritas if anyone cares to join her!!

You can bring wine and snacks to The Painted Plate, both of which are certain to get those creative juices flowing!

Several of us have been before, and it really is a lot of fun!!

The Easter Bunny is Hopping into The Overlook

That's right everyone! The Easter Bunny will be hopping into your neighborhood on Saturday, March 26th! He will be leaving goodies for kids of all ages, so make sure you mark your calendars. The fun will begin a 10:00 a.m. at 626 Walder for the 3 and unders, progress to 630 Walder for the kids age 4 & 5, and to 706 Walder for the kids age 6 and up. After the egg hunt, we will enjoy cookies and lemonade in the Kennedy driveway.

Parents, please deliver one dozen filled eggs per child that wisher to participate in the egg hunt to 706 Walder Trail. Please label your bags with the child's name and age, as we will be splitting the hunt into three age groups.

Also, volunteers are needed to supply baked goodies (cookies, cupcakes, etc.) for the "after party!"

Don't forget - the Easter Bunny leaves one golden egg for each age group, which means an extra fun, yummy surprise!

(Please watch your email - in case of a repeat of last year's inclement weather, the egggs and treats will be randomly distributed back to the participants, and the golden egg winners will be drawn out of a hat!)
