March 20th Marks the Spring Equinox
On the Spring Equinox the Sun rises exactly in the east travels
through the sky for 12 hours and sets exactly in the west. On the Equinox
this is the motion of the Sun through the sky for everyone on earth. Every
place on earth experiences a 12 hours day twice a year on the Spring and
Fall Equinox.
After the Spring Equinox, the Sun still continues to follow a higher and
higher path through the sky, with the days growing longer and longer, until
it reaches it highest point in the sky on the Summer Solstice.

Easter Bunny Report
Attention Overlook kids . . .
The easter bunny has notified us that there will be an official easter egg
hunt on Saturday, April 3rd, beginning at 11:30 am.
We hope everyone can attend, and will need one dozen filled (no chocolate
please) eggs per child (mark sack with name and age of child). You may drop
these off at the Smiths' or the Jarvies' prior to April 1st.
We'd also like some volunteers to supply cookies and snacks for the social
gathering following.
If you're interested in helping, contact either Kristen Smith (smithstx@satx.rr.com)
or Rhoda Jarvie (lrjsj@aol.com).
Look for more details in the April newsletter.
