Make Anahuac Beautiful
Thanks to generous volunteers, the second side of Anahuac was prepared for soil, grass, and plants last weekend.
Wonderful volunteers came to help spread soil, lay sod, and plant lantana the weekend of July 31-August 1. Shrubs are on order and will be in Thursday, August 12. We will be planting these little by little, as time allows, with no scheduled planting time - if you have an hour and a shovel, just head out to the front and put a few in the ground (four feet apart!). Thanks again for all the continued efforts to beautify our community!

National Night Out
The Overlook is proud to be celebrating our second annual National Night Out event Tuesday, August 3rd from 7-9 p.m. The activities will occur in the cul-de-sac of the 400 block of Texas Point. (Please note that this end of the street will be blocked off during the activities, so please try to get in or our by 6:30.)
Activites include moon bounce, face painting, coloring contest, bike safety info, firetruck visit, community info, lots of refreshments, and much, much more!
Take this opportunity to come out and meet your neighbors, and help the Overlook do our part in reducing crime in San Antonio.
Pool Party
The annual Overlook Back to School Luau has been postponed until further notice. More details to follow.
