Saturday, April 12th is the day the floppy eared one makes his way down Walder Trail, leaving special treats behind for Overlook little ones. The fun begins at 12:30 p.m in The Heffon's front yard for the 3 & under crowd. (Note that the time has changed to accommodate a couple of our hosts' Little League schedules!!) We'll move on down to The Kennedy's yard for the 4 & 5 year olds, then on to The Walsh's "challenge yard" for the 6 & up group!
Festivities should end around 10:30 a.m., complete with cookies and lemonade in the Walsh driveway. Special prizes will be awarded to one member of each group who finds the "golden egg." Anyone wishing to participate may drop one dozen, filled, plastic eggs in a sack marked with child's name and age to The Kennedys or The Heffrons. Cookie baking volunteers may contact Samantha Kennedy at davkenn@swbell.net .
The Overlook salutes our men and women in uniform. Thank you for your service.

Ice Cream Man Makes Fridays Fun
"The ice cream truck, the ice cream truck!!!" How many Friday evenings we have heard that joyous cry coming from up the street!

Grayson Walsh purchases a treat from Mr. Tony.

The Overlook is thrilled to welcome Mr. Tony into our community, spreading joy and cheer in the form of bomb-pops and fudge-cicles.

Grayson Walsh, Emily Smith, Bailey and Erynn Kennedy, Paul Smith, and Connor Heffron enjoy their treats.
Mr. Tony plans to visit the Overlook every
Friday, between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

Nothing says "I love you" like sharing your ice cream!
For only a dollar, or sometimes $1.50 for the BIG ones, every Friday we can give our kids a little piece of what we had "back in the good old days."
